Advantages: Petrifying! Great effects!
Disadvantages: Not long enough
OMG just got back from The London Bridge and the London Tombs and absolutely loved it! After deciding to go with my ( presumably) matcho boyfriend, I assumed that I would be the one squeezing his hand in sheer terror.... but oh was I wrong! In fact, I would recommend that every girl takes their potential gentleman caller to this attraction, purely as a vetting exercise - it certainly sorts the men from the boys!!!
The London Bridge Experience is a two part attraction- which is great for someone like myself who gets bored very easily. To begin with, visitors are taken on a historical tour of The London Bridge with a number of different hosts guiding you through time. Right from the outset, it was a very 'hands on' experience as all the characters encourage you to get involved with the story.
The second part of the tour was undoubtedly my favorite! Down in the depths of the London Tombs are mysterious creatures jumping out at you every second of the way- even my very respectable other-half let out a number of girlish screams! Warewolf's, clowns and plague victims are to name only a few of the creatures lurking in an underworld aided by eerie music, dry ice and lots of strobe lightening!
All in all, a great evenings entertainment. I would certainly recommend it for any couples, families or groups.
Ps -Ladies, if you do decide to go with loved ones, make sure you buy the group photograph from the gift shop afterwards.... it works as a great bargaining tool when reminding fellas how they terrified they really were!
Summary: Not for the Faint Hearted!
