Advantages: Well thought out experiences and scary!

Disadvantages: Expensive full-price, long queues

I love the London Dungeon - based about two minutes away from London Bridge tube in Central London this is accessable and well worth a visit. Cost wise it is a little expensive at 22 pounds each, especially for a large group, however you can get tickets half price on the well known last minute websites which is worth it! You think it is just a few exhibitions you walk round but there are about 15 different rooms, each of which have an interactive ride/experience - for example, in Sweeney Tods room you sit in a circle of barbers chairs whislt the history is told, then some scissors touch some peoples necks and they you have to run from the room to get away from him coming... straight into the slums in London with the Great Fires flashing around you - the histoy is interactive which keeps young and old entertainined and the extra scary bits are preempted slightly meaning you can go "a back way to escape" if you want. The experiences last about 45 minutes as you go around in groups of 20 but this doesnt feel too many. The ques outside are long but buy tickets early and it is easier, plus as the group s are big it does go quite quickly, especially as they entertain outside at the same time!

Summary: Def go for a tourist experience of London!

For the disadvantages to this, you can just get them online (like I know you mentioned) and get priority tickets so you dont have to cue. The first time I went was queing for well over an over. The second time when I got tickets online, for maybe 5 minutes inside? =]
