Advantages: large view of London, relaxing

Disadvantages: not ideal for those that are impatient or scared of heights

If you are in London, then you have to see the London Eye. It is truly a sight to see (that lets you see other sights too). I have only been to the London eye twice, both times on Valentine's Day. On 2007 the London eye was lit red to match Valentine's Day. The area around was also decorated in red lights too with a big glass box with a massive heart inside it.

I didn't go inside the London eye till this year's Valentine's Day. I booked for a 'red rose flight'. When we went there the lights were pink this year (should been called pink rose flight I guess lol). The queue was quick and we were greeted with chocolate and the missus got a complementary rose (awww).

The wheel itself has capsules. These capsules are spacious and could fit about twenty people, with a seating area in the middle. The wheel moves so slow that you cannot tell it is moving. When you are at the top you can see miles ahead of London and can see other attractions such as the Big Ben. The wheel to go round once took about 35 minutes. The flight cost £21 per couple but I am not sure exactly on top of my head.

I would recommend everyone to visit the eye for any occasion, it's relaxing ride and the view of London would make it a worthwhile memory.
