The eye (London Eye)
Member Name: theoffical
Advantages: Landmark Disadvantages: Once is enough I have been to the London Eye twice now, and the first time around, I thought it was amazing, but the second time, if I am honest, it wasnt much different to the first same, which seems like an obvious thing to say, but the experience was no different, and it wasnt that exciting. It is so big, and when you are standing at the bottom, it is a little daunting. In fact, I am not particularly scared of heights, or at least I didnt think that I was, and when waiting in the queue, I was really paniced. It doesnt cost that much and for me, my wife, and my three kids, it cost under £65, which for such a large attraction I thought was pretty cheap. The first time, I was scared, but when I got on it, and it started to move, I thought brilliant. When you are at the top, you can see for miles, all the way across London, and you can see the arc of Wembly stadium which was a brilliant sight. I love the fact that this attraction which recieved a lot of critism when it was first built, as it was thought to be an eye sore, has grown into a London landmark, so without it, the riverside wouldnt look the same. The experience is something you would have to do. Summary: Great experience |
