Definitely Worth a visit (London Eye)

Advantages: Stuuning views Disadvantages: A bit expensive The London Eye is an excellent attraction set on London's south bank. It is situated right next to the County Hall and is very easy to get to, you can get a tube to Waterloo which is nearest or go to Westminster and walk along the bridge. In my opinion it could be a bit cheaper as an adult ticket sets you back about £25, however I stayed at the Marriott County Hall and got my tickets included in the room rate. I went a couple of years ago and there was a bit of a delay queuing up as the security was quite strict, I don't know if it is still like that though. The journey itself lasts about 30mins and is a brilliant experience, the views are amazing and at night seeing London all lit up is stunning. As it is only moving very slowly you hardly feel your self moving. I know they have had a lot of problems and bad press when they originally put this up but I think this is all behind them and when I visited I had no problems at all, in fact it has probably turned into one of the most popular places in London to visit. If you are looking for something special to do for someones birthday then you cant go wrong with a trip on the Eye.
