Advantages: Great view

Disadvantages: None

I have been on the eye twice, and it amazing.
Both times I went just as the sun was going down, and the lights were going up. It is a magnificent view.

There use to be a guide in every carriage but they seem to have got rid of them, which is a shame they were very friendly and useful pointing buildings, but hey that's progress.

The easiest way to get there is Waterloo station, and yes they have access for disabled, they can even stop the wheel just for you.

Each time I booked I did it via then computerised phone system, and the earliest tickets were a week later, but if your here on holiday and in a rush to get them and dont mind paying twice the price(thats around 20 quid rather than 10 quid for adults) then there is a place where you can buy them.

Where is this place?

If you get out of charing cross station, wall to trafalgur square, you will see a ticket office opposite the royal bank of scotland(towards westminster). They sell the tickets(well they used to anyway).

OK so now the secret is revealed enjoy an experience you will remember for a long long time.
