Disadvantages: Expensive, crowded, poor entertainment

I am 69 yrs old and took my husband (72 YRS) and son (42 yrs) and three grandchildren, aged 12, 10 and 8 yrs.
Not one of us enjoyed the experience. It was overcrowded, and children had little or no chance of getting anywhere near the front to see favourite stars. Some waxworks were good, but few and far between. Some were terrible and did not resemble the person they were supposed to be at all. The Chamber was a joke with a few men jumping out and making silly noises. There was nowhere to sit a while and even though some refreshments were available to buy, there was no seating at all and people were eating standing up. It was very expensive, £108 for us to get in. We far more enjoyed the museums, which are free.
Madame Tussauds was bad value for money, boring, hot, tiring . When we left, people were sitting on the kerb eating and drinking. All in all a complete waste of money and time. Not one of our party enjoyed the visit and we would not recommend this to anyone.
