Disadvantages: The crowds

Madame Tussauds has become a vicitm of its own success.
It is overpriced, overcrowded and there is a complete lackof customer care.
We went one weekend and wre told different things by different members of staff - nobody seems to know what they are doing or how to run the place.
The first room you enter is awash with wax woks of the rich and famous and there is next to no room to move due to the sheer number of tourists.
I remember coming as a teenager (The A Team were all the rage - showing my age here!) and it just wasn't packed to the rafters as it is now.
I fyou really must go to Madame Tussauds I would make the following recommendations.
1. Rethink - do you really want to go and get hot, sweathy and pushed around by crowds of people?
2. If you really must go, very early or very late are the best times
3. Avoid the summer holidays and allother holidays if possible
