Advantages: Very accessible

Disadvantages: Extremely,extremely crowded,no concessions for OAP's

just writing a quick review, after returning from MT's today. As londoners,it seemed strange, its somewhere we've never visited and my 88 yr old grandmother was desperate to go,as her last visit was around 40 years ago.

Myself,my hubby and 10 yr old son had merlin passes - but I was disgusted at having to pay £25 for my grandmother - apparently, there are no concessions :( Queues were ok,just confusing.

The first hall is a nightmare.Very hot and very crowded.People have no manners and there is lots of pushing and shoving.I was quite worried about my son and grandmother.

As you go on,the crowds do seem to thin out a bit - although by then,we had the attitude if you can't beat 'em,join 'em! You just have to push and jump in to see the wax models, otherwise you will just stand there forever, like a lemon!

We didn't go through the scream part, and the taxi ride was cute.

Bit dissappointed that you are pushed along with the crowd, and all of a sudden, you are at the gift shop and back out on the street. Then you are told you can't go back in! What if after paying all that money, you'd like to go back round again?!

Summary: an ok day
