Advantages: The presentation

Disadvantages: The lack of organisation and rude staff

I have wanted to go to Madame Tussauds for ages, so me and my other half went along. We lined up outside for about 30 minutes and then for another hour when we got inside. There were lots of things to look at and do while waiting in the queue and I thought the presentation was good. We then went to the till, the staff were rude and fake, luckily my other half had a 2 for 1 voucher otherwise it would have cost £50! When going inside, the wax works models were all over the place, there was no structure at all. You couldn't get anywhere because there were to many people in the room at a time. People kept pushing me out of the way when I was trying to take pictures, which was rude. I thought that the first room was busy, then we went into the room where Michael Jackson, Britney Spears and Tony Blairs wax works were and it was packed! You could not move. By that time I was at the end of my tether, it was hot, crowded and very clastrophobic. We went down and there was the chambers of horrors, I couldn't be bothered to go in there because I was extreamely annoyed. The crowd had thinned out towards the end, where theres a little ride. The ride was good. I think that the wax works were good but Kiera Knightly looked nothing like the real Kiera Knightly. I think that a lot of skills have been put into the wax models and the presentation of the whole building was fantastic, the organisation however was disappointing. The staff were rude and just looked like they didn't enjoy being there. I think its extreamely over priced and over rated but if you do go there, you have to be prepared to be pushed around by ignorant tourists.

Summary: Not what I'd call a fun trip out
