Open only until 31st December 2000, daily from 9am-8pm, the Dome can be found on the Greenwich peninsula. With the "Millennium Show" performed in a central arena, the smaller performance area "Our Town Stage", and plenty of cafes and restaurants, the Dome, designed by Richard Rogers, is the largest structure of its kind in the world. The whole Dome site covers 24 acres, including "Skyscape", a cinema by day and a music venue by night. Ticket prices vary depending on age, group sizes etc...and pre-booking is recommended (either online at www.dome2000.co.uk or by telephone: +44 (0)870 606 2000), though some tickets can be bought on the door. "Taster" tickets are available at a price of £10 (only on the door), with admission to all the attractions on the condition you come at 4pm or later.
