I recently visited Andover museum for only the second time, even though I've lived in Andover most of my life. "This will take about an hour," I thought. Two-and-a-half hours later, I came out again! The museum is known as "The Museum of the Iron Age" but it's really the story of Andover and the surrounding area from the Stone Age almost up to the present day. A large part of the museum is taken up with exibits from the excavation of the nearby Danebury Hillfort and thus, many of the artefacts date from Roman times. great atmosphere, welcoming and unique apparently very busy a weekends, bit wierd if not got an army to play games with
