... mouse looking down from the roof! The pulpit has a sermon timer although it is not used today. You can just wander in to this beautiful church and light a candle. As you leave dont forget to go into the Abbey grounds with its famous Roman Wall....more

This beautiful Parish Church dominates the town of Cirencester. It is the largest parish church in the country and sometimes it is confused with the former Cirencester Abbey which is close by. Known as the wool church it has so many lovely features. Nave built in around 1520 but raised in height by 20 foot. An inverted V marks the original roofline. You will absolutely not run out of things to do! Excellent value for money, cheaper attraction tickets which allow you to queue jump.

The ticket is extremely flimsy, keep it safe! Also, not enough time to do everything.
