No matter how hard you try you could not make a day out of a visit there. The Art Gallery is joined with Salford Museum at Peel Park on the Crescent in Salford and has changing exhibitions and hands-on activities as well as all the usual museum and gallery stuff. Salford Museum and Gallery is one of those places that you always get taken to at primary school and I first visited when I was about eight or nine with my school. The main reason they always take you there is probably because of the locality but another reason must be the old Victorian Street that they have.
