Der Cathedrel from a native (minus the spear and grass skirt!) (Salisbury Cathedral)
Member Name: topp99
Advantages: Peaceful, Lovley stained glass windows Disadvantages: May have to pay, Earmuffs required when passing the clock
I have done a sponsored sleepover at Salisbury Cathedrel to raise money for the homeless. It was very good, and raised quite a bit. there were a lot of squaddies taking part, so I know where my sleeping bag was going! Went for a walk to the bell tower and had my ears cleaned out by the row! The bells waigh two tons and have been up there since 1220, when the first stone was laid. Summary: |
