Perhaps the slightly out of the way location and the fact that it would be hard to walk to means that this park is less well known than the similar Botanic gardens. Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park is a beautiful park in Belfast, Northern Ireland. A visit to this park will be a nice day out for the whole family. As soon as one steps into this park the beautiful roses is a real treat to the eyes. There are roses of all colours and sizes. There are all varieties of roses from shrubs, hedges and climbing roses. The air is scented with the smell of roses. This park is also a trial ground for roses brought from different parts of the world. There is a children's play area with lots of play stuff.
