      Advantages

      Disadvantages

UGC is definitely the best cinema in Dundee. I used to attend the Odeon until recently when I found out about UGC's Unlimited Card. I just pay them £9.99 a month and I can see any film I want, as often as I want! I've already seen Matrix five times! On top of that UGC is a much friendlier cinema, which certianly has a better look than the Odeon - and it doesn't have the stupid intermission which Odeon persist with using to p*ss off their customers!! UGC also has a far superior bar, and even offer some tasty bar snacks - bacon roll and wedges for me! Even if you don't follow me in taking up with the Unlimited Card, it's still considerably cheaper than the Odeon. The DCA beats them both on accesability, but as I'm only paying a tenner a month I don't mind travelling there. What's more is there is a new Indian restaurant, a KFC and a McDonalds so if you don't fancy a hot dog, some popcorn or a snack at the bar you can get some tasty food at any of them! I give it a massive thumbs up.

When it was the Virgin cinema I went once and I didn't like it. Firstly although comfy it was too expensive. Secondly I got barred. For getting in a row with one of the incredibly rude staff actually. Well excuse me for sticking up for myself I thought. Anyways, thankfully it's now called the UGC. And it's great. I spend half my weekends there now. The staff are polite and cheerful it's still as comfortable as ever and to top it all off, they've lowered the price of tickets by almost £2. It used to set you back £4.99 when it was Virgin but now it's a tiny £3.00 so I can afford to spend many a sunday there nowadays. And fantastically, they're building a McDonalds right next door so now I will be able to catch a film and get one of those lovely banana milkshakes at the same time. WAY HAY!!
