... is the heart of my snowboarding, and is where I first picked up the sport and have continued loving it for five years straight. That may well seem a bit odd to most people, that me and my family have visited the same wonderful resort for five years running but as soon as the town welcomes you through spectacular mountains (or the moment you break through the Mont Blanc tunnel) you will see why. The resort has been family run for hundreds of years, and in the last year has taken a major upgrade with new, faster and more reliable lifts as well as new routes and pistes. ... visited Panorama when I was in Canada during Winter 08/09. I was living in Banff so it was a bit of a drive down the 93 which was a lovely drive and we experienced a lot of wildlife which was exciting, I can imagine the drive would be a bit more dangerous were we not in a substantial SUV. The resort itself is a little out the way and seems to be a little different than the surrounding hills (Sunshine Village, Lake Louise) with a lot of real estate and some hotels around the resort. ... m really surprised nobody has written a review for this resort! We were looking for a last minute boarding holiday. This was by no means the cheapest but I was assured by my friend that it was known as one of *the* top resorts in Europe for snowboarding. We went the last week of the season which was April 2008, I hadn t snowboarded in a couple of years so was looking forward to it. This resort is massive! Comprising of Davos and Klosters, both are easily accessed by a short bus ride. Although it was late in the season, there was a ridiculous amount of snow. Each day we had at least 10cm of fresh powder which was lovely. What made it even more lovely was the vast spans...
