Bormio (Bormio)
Member Name: donkeykong
Advantages: World class slopes Disadvantages: Not the nearest to the airports
In the Lombardy region of the Italian Alps, Bormio is within reach of Milan, and its several surrounding airports. The town of around 4000 citizens hosted the FIS Alpine World Skiing Championships recently in 2005, for the good reason that its slopes are world class, catering for novice, intermediate and expert skiers equally.
