Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Garmish and Partenkirschen, both small villages in Bavaria, have had a history with each other for years. Now the two have combined to make GarmishPartenkirschen, one of the most incredible places I have ever been. The mountains that surround the villiage are among the highest in Germany and Garmish overlooks the highest point. The scenery is breathtaking and the people are most friendly. While feeling as though you are in the middle of nowhere, the villiage offers internet access, mountain sports and all types of food. Shopping is very traditional and quite elegant.
