Newest Review: ... tipped mountains and large, icey lakes lined with traditional, wooden chalets. It is extremly pleasing to the eye but not so pleasing to the wallet. Everything here appears to be 5 times more expensive than anywhere else. If you don't have a lot of wonga to splash about you may want to decide on one of the cheaper alternetives. The skiing here is good, but I consider it to be equal to the less expensive resorts in places like France and Austria. Its still the Alps, just a lot cheaper. ... more

Switzerland is undoubtably a great place. With its fabulous scenery of snow tipped mountains and large, icey lakes lined with traditional, wooden chalets. It is extremly pleasing to the eye but not so pleasing to the wallet. Everything here appears to be 5 times more expensive than anywhere else. If you don't have a lot of wonga to splash about you may want to decide on one of the cheaper alternetives. The skiing here is good, but I consider it to be equal to the less expensive resorts in places like France and Austria. Its still the Alps, just a lot cheaper. Read the complete review
