I took one look at the name and laughed. I thought it was a bit corny. The American's being... well, American! But when I actually got to Heavenly I discovered they were merely telling the truth! Heavenly is located on the border of California and Nevada and over looks the scenic Lake Tahoe. The resort has 82 runs and being situated at a height of approx. 10000 feet it boasts an excellent snow record. It is not uncommon for the season to last from November to June! The runs cater for all standards and for snowboarders there is a challenging board park. On top of that there are man made jumps located on the Nevada side on the Galaxy run. There are ...
