Advantages: Supposedly the best English speaking ski instructors around, a paradise for beginners, night life

Disadvantages: Not for the more advanced skier

Fantastic place for beginners with brilliant ski school and gentle slopes with stunning scenery.

My partner and I flew in to Toulouse and caught a transfer coach to the resort.

This was my first ski trip and although bad weather resulted in a small avalanche onto the piste (in which nobody was hurt, to my knowledge) and in which one day of skiing was cancelled, I had a fantastic time.

Andorra is a beautiful place and a Tax-Free haven, so the ski gear tends to be a lot cheaper than in the UK.

I would definitely recommend Arinsal for the buzzing night life and tuition on the slopes, but for the more advanced skier, it's probably a little boring.

Cheap to get to and cheap when you're there!
