Schladming is a small ski resort about 1 and a half hours drive from Salzburg airport. There is about 150 - 200km of pistes at Scladming, ranging over 4 mountains (Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm) Everone of these runs is enjoyable and at the top there is some fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. The Black run on Planai is also one of the world cup runs, which was held there earlier this year, and is certainly a challange as it is quite icy down at the bottom. There is plenty of life around Schladming as well. Numerous bars provide a good nightlife, and look out for the bar with the pornography on the walls in the toilets! ...  Read the complete review
