I've always been mega impressed by the Swiss way - from the time you fly from this country - your baggage is not seen until you get to your Hotel (a little scary first time) - what a relief - just take some hand luggae to get you through the first night in case your bags don't arriv... more |

I'm just about to set off to Arosa on my third trip to Switzerland skiing. Two years ago I went to Crans-Montana and previouslt Saas Fee. I have always travelled with Bridge Travel (aka Swiss Travel) - and the reason is Tescos's Clubcard. I save all of my clubcard tokens towards holidays-and cash them in every two years. Arosa is a reasonably small resort a couple of hours away from Zurich, the resort is situated at the end of a valley, this meas that all the slopes came be got to by just two ski lifts, these then divide to give many more. the skiing is probably the best i've ever done, i went late in the season but due to it altitude the snow was still very fresh. the on piste skiing is very good, the swis look after the slopes very well. off piste the powder smow was beautiful. the prices like everywhere in switzerland were high but for the service you get for your money i think it was worth it. a free bus ride goes every 20 mins from the centre of the to the ... Arosa is a small town in the middle of switzerland.it has a number of slopes from blue to black. it is reasonably high up so you can usually get nice thick snow all year round. there are a number a small family owned hotels and afew bigger ones.in the town of arosa itself you can find all the shops you need from food to resturants to clothes and skiing wear.even thogh switzerland is a reasonably expensive country you will be having so much fun i dought you will notice. ...
