Advantages: Superb efficiency
Disadvantages: pricey once there
I'm just about to set off to Arosa on my third trip to Switzerland skiing.
Two years ago I went to Crans-Montana and previouslt Saas Fee.
I have always travelled with Bridge Travel (aka Swiss Travel) - and the reason is Tescos's Clubcard.
I save all of my clubcard tokens towards holidays-and cash them in every two years. If you spend your tokens in store you just get face value - however use them on the clubcard deals and get four times the value. So I get approx £250 saved over 2 years - which equates to £1000 of holiday vouchers - which means you can afford Switzerland!.
I've always been mega impressed by the Swiss way - from the time you fly from this country - your baggage is not seen until you get to your Hotel (a little scary first time) - what a relief - just take some hand luggae to get you through the first night in case your bags don't arrive till next morning (although both times ours have arrived in the evening of arrival).
I also like travelling on Swiss trains - which are very clean and you can set your watch by them.
Switzerland itself is awre inspiring in the Mountains - and I can highly recommend!
Summary: Swiss efficienciency and luxury - on a budget

- 08/01/06 This category is for writing about Swiss ski resorts in general. While it is fine (indeed, encouraged on a consumer webite such as this) to pass on money saving tips, this review is as much about the Clubcard deal and the travel firm you went with as it is about the resorts. You could easily get two or three good reviews out of the range of information you have offered here, if you take the time to write about your chosen subjects in a bit more depth. Spend some time reading around the site and you should hopefully see what I mean! :-) |

- 04/01/06 Actually, I was going to suggest this should have been posted under Bridge Travel? There is a category for their website. |
