Tonale PassNewest Review: ... telecabine - reasonably quick and opened at reasonable times. My main issue with the resort was that if you were coming from the neighbouring village on the telecabine, you had two choices - either get off half way up the cabine and take the bus, or board/ski down the steep hill to the ski school area. This proved a problem for beginner boarders and skiiers as it meant that they had to compete with the experianced and therefore fast skiiers wizzing down behind them. I took a school ski trip to Passo Tonale in February and have very mixed feelings about the resort. We stayed in the adjoining village which was connected by a regular telecabine - reasonably quick and opened at reasonable times.
