Witch Stick ... sticks work pretty well. I ve bought 3 in the whole of my life - the latest one a few days ago from Superdrug (£1.28 for 10g on offer). It comes in a neat little box, then the packaging of the item itself is sort of like a lipstick tube, but with a screw cap and only a one-way push up system (like a push pop - remember those?!) so you have to be careful not to push it up too far, other wise you might have to actually touch the stick with your fingers to push it down again, and that s not particularly hygienic. I suppose it would be better to have a turn-down system - but that would be more expensive, and I like the price of this item. The consistency of the stick ... Superdrug Clarity Blackhead Cleanser ... bought this when it was on offer with the other blackhead treatments from superdrug, in fact with the clarity nose strips. I thought this cleanser would act as a blackhead preventer. After using cleansers and facial scrubs before I did not have much faith in them. Its not too harsh on the skin, after using it I seemed to break out in more spots and it did not make any difference to my blackheads. I think thats because it stripped all the oil from my skin, which in turn made my skin produce more oil so I seemed to have broken out in more spots. I would not recommend this to someone with oily skin or dry skin, as it made it shiny and dry. As with the other clarity prod... Origins Spot Remover ... can really recommend this product, it is a small pot of gel which contains salicylic acid and other ingredients to help fight spots. As soon as you feel a spot coming - or even once the spot has arrived just dab a bit of the gel on the spot. I normally squeeze the pot and get use my finger to apply a very small bit of the gel. Alternatively you could use a small brush or a cotton wool bud. You need to be sure you are using a small amount and only put it on the spot itself. This is because it has a drying effect and can dry out the skin around your spot. This gel does sting when it goes on but this goes down quite quickly and it works extremely well. It dries out ...
