Boots No.7 Advanced Hydration Day Cream ... have always thought of myself as having quite oily skin and so never bothered spending very much on moisturiser. However recently I had a facial as part of a birthday pampering treat and the therapist commented that my skin was very dry and was absorbing products as quickly as she could apply them! Of course she recommended some of the moisturisers on sale in the spa but I decided to see if I could find something suitable on the high street (and spend a bit less on it!) Neal's Yard Almond Moisturiser ... received some vouchers for Neal s Yard remedies from my boss, but before that I had never used any of the company s products. I went to the shop at Borough Market in London to buy a new moisturiser. The shop displays were lovely, and with all the bottles and jars on the shelves to the roof it felt like a real alchemists layer. I was looking for something really light and gentle. There were several to choose from, but I opted for Almond as it was recommended for sensitive skin. As soon as I got home I put it on, and I was delighted. Lush Celestial ... am like a serial face cream user looking for that perfect cream that will give me a flawless complexion. I have found creams but they are filled with chemicals some which can cause premature ageing and so I am on the quest for something natural thus Lush s Celestial. It is a good cream but not for my skin. I always thought I had dry skin but I realized that I was using a very harsh cleanser that completely dried out my skin. When I started using more natural products I realized that my skin type is normal, sometimes a bit dry. Celestial smells good and makes the skin smooth but I felt that it was a bit greasy for me.
