... smell hits you before anything else. The scents are quite overpowering at times, and even once you have the balm on your lips, you still smell it strongly. My mum even asked me what perfume I was wearing once, upon which I replied that I wasn't wearing any perfume, it was lip balm. The balm itself is usually a vibrant shade; the raspberry is bright purple, the papaya is pinkish red, the kiwi is green etc. The lipbalms feel nice on the lips, and usually colour your lips the colour of the balm (I don't know what...more

Premium Review Agatha Ruiz De La Prada Lipbalm: Smell that lipbalm.... (462 words)

Rating:

I was first introduced to these lip balms when my cousin brought me one back from Spain as a gift from her holidays. This was the raspberry one, which still remains my favourite even now. The lip balms come in stylish little tins, similar to those in which you find Vaseline nowadays, although the Agatha Ruiz de la Prada balms are much larger. The tubs have a simplistic design, with a base colour, then there are various shapes on top, which are in a co-ordinating colour. The overall design is very funky and modern and above all, eye-catching. There are 6 flavours - raspberry, kiwi, papaya, tutti fruitti, passion fruit and cherry. Premium Review Agatha ruiz de la prada lipbalms - heavenly (416 words)

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada are simply the most heavenly smelling lipbalms in the world! A very popular Spanish designer, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada is perhaps best known for her clothing range, especially children's clothing and accessories which follow the bright, bold, colourful trademark designs, just like the packaging of these lipbalms. I was first converted many years ago when I discovered the papaya lipbalm in Superdrug for £3.99, but my local store stopped selling it and for years I was unable to find these lipbalms anywhere. However, when I moved to Spain I was thrilled to find that they were hugely popular there, and now every time I go back I stock up! ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Agatha Ruiz De La Prada Lipbalm: Fun and Flirty Lips! (417 words)
by - written on 16/02/09 (Very useful, 107 readings)
Rating:

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada is a Spanish designer known for her bold colours and prints and tends to sell clothing for men, women and children. However, she has released a range of lipbalms for which she designed the tins for. The tins are all in bright colours, such as pink, blue orange and purple, and have big bold prints and shapes, in keeping with her trademark design. These lipbalms come in many flavours including cherry, papaya, tutti frutti, passion fruit and raspberry and each has a very strong and distinctive scent. This is in line with the whole designer theme, big and bold. The scent hits you as soon as you open the tin- whenever I used to apply the ...  Read the complete review
