Advantages: Smell amazing!

Disadvantages: No SPF

Agatha Ruiz de la Prada are simply the most heavenly smelling lipbalms in the world! A very popular Spanish designer, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada is perhaps best known for her clothing range, especially children's clothing and accessories which follow the bright, bold, colourful trademark designs, just like the packaging of these lipbalms.

I was first converted many years ago when I discovered the papaya lipbalm in Superdrug for £3.99, but my local store stopped selling it and for years I was unable to find these lipbalms anywhere. However, when I moved to Spain I was thrilled to find that they were hugely popular there, and now every time I go back I stock up! This is the main problem with the lipbalms, I know they DO sell them in the UK, but except for online I can no longer find them! However, I googled them and there are heaps of online stores selling them for £3.99 for one, or the set of 5 for £14.99. Or if you're off to Spain on your holidays this year you can pick them up for 3.50 euros in el corte inglés or Mercadona, so stock up!

So why do I love these lipbalms so much? Well, as far as lipbalms go they are fairly standard. They come in a 15ml tin (with a gorgeous brightly coloured design on it) and include Vitamin E to promote healthy lips. I tend to be quite allergic to alot of lipbalms but these ones always leave my lips feeling lovely and soft, and offer great protection from the elements in Winter. However, as far as I can see on the packaging, theres no SPF, which I find rather odd considering they are sold mainly in Spain where an SPF is rather important, so in summer I make sure I apply sunscreen underneath.

All of these lipbalms smell delightful but my favourite is the cherry flavour. This is because it is a deep pink in colour and leaves a soft pink sheen on your lips, hardly noticeable but makes them look really healthy. Also it smells amazing, seriously amazing. Whenever you open the tin people comment on the amazing smell, it wafts quite far! All of my friends and people I work with have gone out and bought this lipbalm after one sniff of mine... even the men love it, and secretly lament that it is far too feminine for them to use.

An absolutely perfect range of lipbalms.

Summary: These lipbalms attract people like magnets
