~About the Product / What the Product Says to Do~
This is a night time treatment for oily skins, it is said to hydrate the skin all night while you sleep, protect and purify the delicate skin especially the oily areas on the skin.

You awake with improved skin tone that is smooth and very soft to the touch.

Use within 12 months of opening.

~Application~
Apply one pump to the face and neck every night. Apply in upwards and outwards stroking motion.

~Texture / Packaging / Colour / Smell~
The texture of this product is very light on the skin, it looks and feels more like a serum than a night treatment. Because of this it is easier to apply another product onto if you wanted to without worrying the other product wouldn't work as well.
It also sinks in very quickly.

This product comes in a see trough glass 30ml bottle with a gold lid; it is a pump action bottle to extract the product from.

The colour has a gold tinge to it, once spread across the skin it goes into a serum.

I wouldn't really state this product of having a distinctive smell, you can smell the essential oils and extracts init but it's not very overpowering at all.

~My Opinion~
Like the other reasons why I came across this product I asked in a professional beauty forum what products is good for oily skins and they came up with a brand that I had never heard of before called Algologie.

Some of the people on that forum have their own salon and use this brand and say their clients love it. So off I went to the main supplier Jica to purchase this product.

I was amazed at the cost, £21.52 for a 30ml bottle. But Algologie is based on plants from the deep sea so it's got to be good hey?

The product arrived within 2 days and I tried it that night. I cleansed and toned my face and applied a pump on my fingertips. The texture is so light it looks and feels like a serum. When applied to the skin there is no need to massage in for ages as it sinks in straight away leaving you with beautiful soft skin. I also noticed I had a matte appearance after applying.

In the morning my skin felt so soft and hydrated. There was no dry patches but my skin did look a little shiny.

I find with this product because it sinks in so fast and acts more like a serum you can apply another product on top if need be. Say if my skin feels a little dry than normal I can apply this and a richer night cream etc. It is very versatile.

Even though it is expensive for 30ml you need one to two pumps a night and it has lasted me months and I still have a lot to go though so I would say it is more money saving while protecting your skin and giving it the best night time treatment.

It is a winner for me.
