As some of you may know I have been tackling an acne problem that has out of the blue, at the ripe old age of thirty, decided to make my life a misery. Having never before suffered with bad skin, blemishes or spots, I was quite concerned and have been on a mission to rectify the problem.

During my mission, which I am glad to say is coming to an end having been recommended a wonderful product which I have already reviewed, I tried out this product from Avon.

The Tea Tree Blemish stick is a very neat little product that can be carried around in your pocket or handbag, should you so wish to do so, and is lightweight and very inoffensive to look at.

It has a screw top which doubles up as an applicator/wand which is used to apply the product directly from tube to spot! Or spots, in my case!!!

It has a sticky texture and is clear, and remains so on application to the skin. There is a slight odour to the product but much what you would expect from any product containing tea-tree. It can and does sting ever so slightly when applied but I would imagine that this would differ from one type of skin irritation to another.

Once applied the wand is simply placed back into the tube until the next application.

Make -up can be applied over it though it does prove troublesome to effectively apply liquid foundation over the top, so I would suggest letting the gel dry thoroughly first.

Personally this product - however convenient and inexpensive - did not help remove my spots. In fact, it did not improve the condition of my skin in any way. The spots remained and so did the product.....at the bottom of my make-up bag....where it remained for quite someime until I evenually threw it out.

Summary: not the best treatment I have ever tried, nor the worst.
