My sister gave me this tub of Avon's Dry Skin SOS Face Cream after realising it's too heavy for her skin, I've always suffered with extremely dry skin which tends to flare up on my face rather than being a constant battle so she thought it might be useful for the occasions when my skin is feeling particularly dry. The cream smells nice and fresh, there isn't really a perfume to it but it's just a lovely light scent which is not dissimilar to products such as Nivea. The tub has a twist off lid which is smooth to get on and off, it's one of those which if you twist the lid and it's not on properly then you can just press on it to click it into place properly ... I think money is rather tight for a lot of us right now, especially those of us who rely on a substantial amount of our incomes from self-employment as Dave and I do. Thankfully we have a lovely home and good savings behind us so we are a lot luckier than many. We like to be sure that things will stay this way until retirement nevertheless and so we have been on a real credit crunch saving mission since Christmas. Being an Avon representative means I do get a small discount on my cosmetics and toiletries, but they do still cost me quite a lot! I am supposed to be earning money from Avon after all and not just simply earning myself a few expensive ... Read the complete review

I have very dry skin and am always looking for a good moisturiser that will get rid of the dry look of my skin but also not leave it looking oily and greasey. I decided to try this moisturiser as my boyfriends mother is an Avon representitive and she reccommened it to me as it had worked for her other customers. I was really pleased with the results, I just applied it to my face when I woke up and again when I was going to bed. If you use the moisturiser sparingly it doesnt leave you with that oily feeling that alot of moisturisers can give you as soon as you apply them to your face. I have very sensitive skin and this product did not cause me to ... Read the complete review

Having very dry skin, i am always on the look out for a product that can help moisturise my skin and make it look healthy and hydrated. I recently purchased Dry Skin Sos Cream from Avon Cosmetics. It retails at £4.00 but i bought it whilst it was on offer. It is a 200ml tub of cream. The tub is a slightly off white colour with a band of orange going around the bottom, it has a blue screw top lid. It has the 'Avon Care' logo in a blue box with the product name next to it. When i opened the tub no smell came jumping out at me so i smelt the product closer. There is a very faint smell and i did find it hard to actually distinguish what i thought it ... I don't often buy Avon products as I don't tend to like them so when I recieve the catalogue I tend to quickly glance through, see the offers and then leave on the side til I need to hand in back. However just the other day I spotted this in here for just a small price of £2 and always having dry skin, expecially in the winter and finding my favourite moisturiser in the Body Shop a bit heavy on the pocket, at £11 a time I thought what have you got to lose? Apparently a lot... What is it? It is an Avon moisturiser that is from the name SOS you can tell if for very dry skin. It is a large tub of moisturiser and is the kind that is just loose in a ...
