... match' any two Clearskin products for the sum of £3 which I thought offered brilliant value. One of the products I chose for this offer was of course the purifying astringent. I have now been using the astringent for around a month or so and I have found it to be very easy to use, with quite positive results. I usually use the astringent at night time, after removing my make-up. After using some make-up remover and cleansing my face using a foam-based cleanser, I tend to apply the astringent afterwards. Any regular readers of my reviews will be aware by now that I work as an Avon Representative when my health allows. This means that I have regular access to many different Avon products and of course many of those brilliant promotions and great deals that can regularly be found across the pages of the latest Avon brochure! There are several brands within Avon that I use regularly, some are of course better than others but one brand in particular that I find to be very beneficial whilst generally offering great value, is the 'Avon Clearskin' brand. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this brand, it contains an assortment of products aimed at ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review An Easy Step Towards Clear Skin (507 words)

I'm writing this review for Avon Clearskin 'Purifying' Astringent; I couldn't find the exact product already listed on DooYoo but the Clearskin Astringent Cleanser seems the same and may very well be the same one (I'm not all too familiar with Avon products). I don't have particularly bad skin in the sense that there's a few blemishes and whatnot but it's nothing to shine out in a crowd or make me feel self-conscious. I wanted something to help cleanse and get my skin looking a bit clearer and fresher so decided to give Avon's Clearskin a go after reading reviews that praised their products. Clearskin Purifying Astringent can be bought from their ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Avon Clearskin Astringent Cleanser Sensitive: I don't want to be a "Spotty Dick"! (621 words)

When I was a teenager I was always concerned with how my skin looked. I suppose I was a typical teenager in that respect. I tried all the brands of cleaners that were on the market but nothing really worked. I also had the added trouble of having to wear stage make-up due to my dancing and acting. Boy, if you did not remove the makeup at night, then spots were sure to appear the next day! (Well that was ago time ago now). My niece Catherine was in a similar position a few years ago. She was dancing most weekends for the Cornish Youth Dance Company and so needed to ensure here skin was always in good condition. Her mother (my sister in-law) Rose looked through ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Clean and glowing! (294 words)

Avon Clearskin is the best cleanser I have ever used and I can't say fairer than that, can I? It is a pale blue astringent liquid, which is made for use on sensitive skin. I just put a few drops on a cleansing pad and wipe my whole face and neck area, avoiding my eyes obviously. If I get some in my eyes by mistake I find that washing straight away with cold water soon puts things right again. On the rare occassions that I wear eye make up, I remove that with a specialist eye make up remover from Yves Rocher before using Clearskin. I find that the creamy cleansers tend to make my face feel very greasy, but with Avon Clearskin the result is ...  Read the complete review
