Welcome to Part 2 of this three part guide to fighting spots. The product I am concerned with today is Avon's Astringent Cleanser. For those of you who haven't read part one of this 3-part series, I will quickly go over some background information. Being young, in the past couple of years I’ve had my fair share of problems with spots, but at the moment I am using 3 products on a daily basis that have greatly reduced and almost completely eliminated my spots. The first product I use, described in Part 1, is Clearasil Treatment Cream. This can greatly reduce and often completely remove spots when applied to existing blemishes on the face. The second ... When I was a teenager I was always concerned with how my skin looked. I suppose I was a typical teenager in that respect. I tried all the brands of cleaners that were on the market but nothing really worked. I also had the added trouble of having to wear stage make-up due to my dancing and acting. Boy, if you did not remove the makeup at night, then spots were sure to appear the next day! (Well that was ago time ago now). My niece Catherine was in a similar position a few years ago. I have a couple of friends who are Avon people so I do find myself ordering from their books quite regularly. The products that I have tried have always been good value and reasonably priced. So, I had a look through the small book and Avon Clearskin caught my attention. In winter I am for some reason more prone to spots on my face so I did need a product for my face. So, I was happy when I saw that it was sensitive skin. I was also quite shocked that it cheaply priced. You could get a 250ml bottle for £3 which I thought was really good value considering the fact that Cearsil costs a lot more. So, I ordered Avon Clearskin, it was about two to three ... Avon Clearskin is the best cleanser I have ever used and I can’t say fairer than that, can I? It is a blue astringent liquid, which is made for use on sensitive skin. I just put a few drops on a cleansing pad and wipe my whole face and neck area, avoiding my eyes obviously. If I have worn eye make up, I remove that with a specialist eye make up remover from Yves Rocher before using Clearskin. I find that the creamy cleansers tend to make my face feel very greasy, but with Avon Clearskin the result is fresh, clean skin, ready for the application of moisturiser. I tend to use it again if I do any exercise as it removes the perspiration and ... Read the complete review
