Advantages: Suitable for both males and females to use.
Disadvantages: Not really very good for older, drier skin!
When I was a teenager I was always concerned with how my skin looked. I suppose I was a typical teenager in that respect. I tried all the brands of cleaners that were on the market but nothing really worked. I also had the added trouble of having to wear stage make-up due to my dancing and acting. Boy, if you did not remove the makeup at night, then spots were sure to appear the next day! (Well that was ago time ago now). My niece Catherine was in a similar position a few years ago. She was dancing most weekends for the Cornish Youth Dance Company and so needed to ensure here skin was always in good condition. Her mother (my sister in-law) Rose looked through the Avon catalogue and thought she would buy Avon 'Astringent Cleanser Sensitive' for her daughter. Catherine has never looked back since. Her skin was cleansed thoroughly and the dreaded spots rarely showed their awful white or black heads! Teenage skin needs looking after and Avon now has a whole range to choose from, the 'Clearskin' range. Within this range 'Astringent Cleanser Sensitive' can be found. It is specifically designed for the care of teenager's skin. The packaging is simple with minimal fuss. It is ideal for both sexes to use, giving the skin a fresher look. Avon 'Astringent Cleanser Sensitive' really hits the spot. **Colour Code for Avon's the 'Clearskin' range ** Green Square denotes daily use. Orange Square denotes that the product once or twice a week. Pink Square denotes usage as required. Purple Square denotes that the product is suitable for sensitive skin. Avon 'Astringent Cleanser Sensitive' is designed to be use daily. The purple square found within the logo denotes the Avon 'Astringent Cleanser Sensitive' is suitable for use on sensitive skin too. Catherine who is now fifteen tends to use this cleanser twice a day; in the morning and also at night.
**Ideal Skin Type** This is suitable to be used on anyone with sensitive skin. The best skin type for the Avon 'Astringent Cleanser Sensitive' is dry skin with an oily texture. This is typical of most teenagers skin due to the hormonal changes within the body. **What does Avon 'Astringent Cleanser Sensitive' do** This Avon product helps to remove and also reduce excess oil on the skin, thus leaving the face feeling clean and refreshed. The cleansing process helps to reduce those awful blemishes whilst keeping the skin 'spotlessly'. **Cost** Avon 'Astringent Cleanser Sensitive'? comes in two sizes. 100mls bottle costs £3.50. 200mls bottle costs £5.00. The last time I went to Cornwall, I forgot my own cleanser and so choose to use some of Catherine's 'Astringent Cleanser'. I found it cleaned my skin well, but I did need to apply more moisturising cream than normal as it did dry my skin. I would recommend this product for teenagers but I would be wary of using it again on older drier skin types. If you find that you do not like Avon 'Astringent Cleanser Sensitive' then simply return the cleanser to your Avon representative for a full money back refund, even if you have used some of it! **For more information** Address: Avon Cosmetics Limited Earlstree Road Corby Northants NN117 4AZ Telephone number: 0845 345 8444 Website: www.avon.uk.com NB THE POINTS BELOW ARE CATHERINE'S REMARKS.
