Advantages: reduces spot size
Disadvantages: doesnt do as it says
Some one recommended the avon clearskin immediate response blemish treatment to me as I do get quite alot of spots so I thought I'd give it a try.
When I ordered this product It was on the buy one get one free offer so I also got the immediate response blemish cleanser so it cost me £4 altogether which I thought was a good price to pay if they worked.
When the blemish treatment arrived it was in a small white cardboard box. I was quite disappointed when I saw how small the tube was considering the usual price is £3.50 I thought it would be bigger than 15ml but it does state the size in the book so that is my own silly fault. The tube itself is quite simple packaging, plain white with the description on the front and a blue lid. It has a small nozzle which makes it easy to control how much product comes out.
I applied a small amount to my finger then covered my spot with it. It was like a gel and visible to see as once it dries it does start peeling away if knocked so I wouldnt use it before leaving the house. I left the product on over night and when I woke up the next day most of the product had come off and the small amount left on did come off easily.
My spot had been reduced and looked alot less red so I was quite pleased with the product. I used it another time when I had a few small spots and nothing changed, I thought that it would make them go away as they were only small but there was no difference.
I now use this product if I have one big spot to help reduce the look of it but it doesnt make it go away like the brochure says and I wouldnt recommend to use it if you get alot of small spots.
Summary: good to reduce the size of large spots
