When my Avon lady came round I already knew what I wanted (for once). I needed some black mascara and as I didn't want anything else decided I would order it from Avon to give my rep, Anita an order lol Looking through the catalogue I spied on this occasion that the mascara I wanted was £7.00 or free if I bought something else! Wow I thought so I ordered cheapest thing to make the offer up and it happened to Avon - Conditioning Eye Makeup Remover Lotion. Now as I've got older I do use eye make up remover, just to try to be a bit kinder to my skin and of course I do follow through with cleanser and toner or wipes. I have incredibly sensitive eyes and ... Read the complete review

A few months ago I ran out of eye makeup remover at around the same time our Avon lady left a brochure for me to peruse. As I didn't want to buy anything else from the brochure I thought I'd avoid the guilt I feel when I don't order anything (our Avon lady is really very nice) by buying this product. I'm not a huge fan of Avon products - actually I don't think that there is anything I have bought from Avon that I would happily buy again - but I figured this eye makeup remover was worth a go. This product has been rately very poorly by other dooyoo members and I decided I would write this review to reinforce their negative impressions of this product. Not only because it is poor value for money for consumers, but equally because I get a little bit fed up of the complaints I receive about this and the returns I have to make! This product is supposed to be an eye make-up remover. I should firstly point out that although the eye area is indeed more delicate than the rest of the face, that does not necessarily mean you should go out and buy a seperate make-up ... Description This is a conditioning eye make-up remover, which should be applied to cotton wool and swept over the eye area to remove all traces of eye make-up. Pros - The bottle is quite nice and has a screw on top to minimise the chance of spillages. Also the squeezy bottle is easily to get the right amount out. - It's a nice texture, not too runny or too thick in consistency, and also not greasy like a lot of eye make-up removers. It feels quite nice on the skin, and cooling and soothing to the eye area. - It smells inoffensive - It removes eye-shadows very quickly and easily Cons - ... Read the complete review
