Advantages: Nice bottle
Disadvantages: It doesn't remove make-up well at all
Description
This is a conditioning eye make-up remover, which should be applied to cotton wool and swept over the eye area to remove all traces of eye make-up.
Pros
- The bottle is quite nice and has a screw on top to minimise the chance of spillages. Also the squeezy bottle is easily to get the right amount out.
- It's a nice texture, not too runny or too thick in consistency, and also not greasy like a lot of eye make-up removers. It feels quite nice on the skin, and cooling and soothing to the eye area.
- It smells inoffensive
- It removes eye-shadows very quickly and easily
Cons
- It's quite expensive compared to other brands of similar quality at £4 for a 150ml bottle.
- It takes an absolute age to remove more than just the first little bits of mascara and eyeliner, and it involves a lot of rubbing and almost scrubbing at your eyes, which is really bad for the sensitive skin of the eye area.
- It makes my eyes water as soon as it goes anywhere near them (not good for a product which is used on the eyes!)
- Even after all the scrubbing it takes to get the makeup off the eyes, my skin doesn't feel, or look clean, and I have to rinse them really thoroughly through water to get them feeling ok again. And then I still find I have a slight pandas eye effect.
Summary
This is not so bad if all you wear is eyeshadow, but if like the majority of us girls you wear mascara or eyeliner this will simply not be up to the task. It's really not worth the price!
Summary: An eye makeup remover that doesn't remove eye makeup
