Advantages: The smell is okay

Disadvantages: Everything else

As a teenage girl, i'm always looking for ways to improve my skin. Whether it be to get rid of spots, be softer, be glowy or to be just clean.

I saw this mask on offer for £2. If anything face wise is on offer cheap enough, I will buy it just because I'm so desperate to sort my skin out as I do suffer from spots. I know this doesn't say it's a spot solving mask, but face masks in general usually help the skin right?

So I received it from my Avon rep. It's a tiny little tub/jar, if you're expecting a biggish one, you'll be disappointing because it's quite small. The texture is really thick and it's orange. I absolutely love the smell, but if you get it anywhere, it's gonna linger for days (which does tend to get a bit sickly).

I put it all over my face, not too thick but thick enough. I left it on for the stated 10 minutes. It started to absorb into my skin, which I thought would be a good thing, as then it would hydrate my skin and make it nicer. It washes off okay, takes a while as it doesn't dry. It stays wet from the time you apply to the time you wash it off. It's one of those ones you have to sit rubbbing until it comes off. Nonetheless, I continued washing it off.

Afterwards, I did find my skin a lot softer but after a few hours my skin became oily in the t-zone and chin. I suffer from oily skin anyway but this just added to it. I also noticed a few break outs which may just be my skin but still. My skin didn't feel any more hydrated than usual and it didn't look any different.

Overall I'm just really disappointed with it. I will use it now and again if I'm feeling brave and risking getting a few spots, purely just for the luxury of using a face mask and relaxing. I think this would be perfect for people with dry skin as it does add oil. If you have oily skin, stay well clear because it's going to make it so much worse. I wouldn't recommend it overall.

Summary: Not good at all
