Avon Eye Makeup Remover
You just cant beat a bit of Avon from time to time and I personally never seem to get a book where I live but my mum occasionally does. Now the good thing there is that when she asks me if I need anything, I take the book away and come back with a list of a good few things. The order goes in, the things come back from the Avon representative and then mum ends up paying for them and I get all these lovely things for Free!!! Great plan or what!!
One thing that I am always using and always seeming to run out of is makeup remover. I really hate to leave my makeup on especially overnight. I always remember hearing about the girl who would always go to bed in her makeup and tons of mascara only to one day wake up and find she had no eyelashes left as they had hardened up and dropped out – now is that and urban legend started by an Avon lady do you think? Whatever it was spurred me into making sure I always take my makeup off before bed.
I find Avon good for pretty much everything but especially their makeup remover, which really does work wonderfully. You pay a small amount for such a good product that you seem to get a lot of uses from. This 150ml bottle set me back a mere £3 that compared to other branded makeup removers is a really good price. Plus the facts that Avon seems to either have one special offer on or another you can invariably walk away with the makeup remover for a lot less.
The product come in a screw top bottle that has an easy pour spout to get just the right amount of product out onto a cotton wool pad. The makeup remover itself is very good at removing every single trace of makeup including that really hard to shift water proof mascara and it actually does this with ease. The cream itself seems very delicate and not greasy but quite rich in consistency. You can feel it removing the makeup and moisturising the face at the same time.
I always take my makeup off with using cotton wool pads although I am sure if you wanted to you could use this product on your flannel to save on all those cotton wool pads. The makeup remover has no real fragrance to it other than a very fresh and clean smelling product. I have been trying different products such as this from Liz Earle and Clarins although these seem to have a rather old woman fragrance to that I am really not that keen on. This Avon one just has a lovely fresh and appealing smell and considering how much cheap it is than the previous brands I have mentioned it seems like a better option.
The cream product is easily applied to the face and the eye area especially. It is very light on the skin and really does not irritate even the delicate area surrounding my eyes. The makeup comes off quickly and without excess rubbing involved like some makeup removers I have used where you still have to put in a bit of elbow grease to get every trace of makeup off. You can of course see how well the product is working by taking a look at the cotton wool pad that is covered in old makeup. I like to keep using the product and cotton wool pads until I am sure that every slight bit of makeup has been removed from my face.
I mean how much more is there for me to say about a makeup remover that really does exactly what it should. This product really is great and I think I will most certainly stock up on it next time mum places me an order. The bottle I have had now has been in my bathroom for a good few months and that is with me still using it every single day!
This Avon Makeup remover is able to clean away the heaviest of makeup and even that of waterproof mascara with total ease. My skin is left feeling clean and revived rather than greasy and scrubbed. It is gentle to the skin and has quite a nice pleasant smell to it. A little goes a long way and that is making me very happy.
I can really not see a reason why this would not be the perfect makeup remover for anyone anywhere. It is a affordable price so I would say that if you are in need of a new makeup remover then look no further than the Avon catalogue. Avon is also available online and they still have loads of great special offers just like they have in the catalogue. I would totally recommend this product and having a good old look on the Avon Website.
Summary: a great product

- 13/08/07 Sounds good - I have been searching for ages for a decent cheap make up remover that gets rid of waterproof mascara. I used to use Anne French but is really hard to find now... finally got some off the internet so I'm okay for a while, but when I run low I'll give this a go |
