... when I dropped a bit in the sink I had to use a scourer to get it off because tissue just smeared it round in the bottom of the sink. It feels like that my on face as well and felt proper thick as it was drying and got on my nerves a bit because I could feel it all over my skin. It took about 20 mins to dry completely and then it was easy to peel off and it all came off in one piece. It stuck a bit where I got it too close to my eyebrows but that came off with a bit of baby shampoo and warm water. After I had used...more

Crowned Review Avon Planet Spa Japanese Sake & Rice Face Mask: I'm on Planet Spa (649 words)

After Christmas a lot of Avon products were reduced and I managed to pick up this Planet Spa Japanese Sake and Rice Smoothing Facemask for just £1. It usually costs £4.50 so this was quite a bargain! The face mask comes in a 75 ml white tube with the Planet Spa logo on the front. I have used it 3 times so far and it feels like there's still quite a lot left so I think it will probably last for at least a couple of months. The face mask promises to 'remove dry, dull skin cells to reveal brighter, more radiant looking skin' and to 'remove impurities for a cleaner, more refreshed look'. To use the mask, you apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Peel off Zen mask from Avon! (277 words)

I had been saying I wanted to try a face mask for some time and my Mum kindly bought me this one from the Avon catalogue for Christmas. I didnt have any experience with facemasks, so I didnt have any specific requirements, only that it was a peel off one as I didnt want to be washing my face for days trying to strip it off! Avon planet Spa Japanese Sake and Rice Face Mask comes in a white tube, with enough facemask for about three tries, depending on how thick your coverage is I guess. The tube gives a clean and zen filled atmospheric effect as it is plain and white with not too much detailing on, which is fine, so long as it does the job! Opening ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Avon Planet Spa Japanese Sake & Rice Face Mask: Best £8.50 I could have spent ever! (962 words)

When it comes to face masks I'm a huge fan of them as a rule. I think it's just cos I see them as a pampering product more than anything else and so if I have a hot date or I'm going out on big night out with the girls I can usually be found prior to the event with a face mask on and lazing in the bath and the likes! Ok I'm vain...I admit it lol. Not being a fan of Avon products but loving my rep, Anita I always feel obliged to purchase something from her so I tend to buy stuff on offer or reduced to mainly keep her happy lol. I saw this on offer at £5.00 a tub (usual price £8.50) and decided that as I use face mask alot it wouldn't hurt to give ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review An Avon Favourite (307 words)
by - written on 30/05/09 (Very useful, 25 readings)

Avon Planet Spa Japanese Sake & Rice Face Mask is one of my favourite face masks of all time. It retails for £4.25, and recently the product was sold on sale for only £1 per tube! It was because Avon had changed the outer packaging and were selling off this product in the old style packaging to clear stock space for the new product. I did not mind what tube my product came in, especially for only £1! This product is very easy to use. Just flip the cap open and squeeze a small amount of the product into your hand. The product is a very thick, white liquid that smells very cleanly and faintly of rice. It is easy to smooth over skin, and it covers well ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Avon Planet Spa Japanese Sake & Rice Face Mask: If this is how the Japanese do it - just call me Suki! (598 words)

Well, my bath is being taken out today to be replaced with a wet room which is essential for my health but unfortunate in that I will greatly miss my long hot baths. So last night I toasted the end of my long relationship with the tub and settled back for a soak with my last Lush bubble bar, a glass of wine and a face mask. The face mask I chose to use last night was an Avon Planet Spa Japanese Sake and Rice Face Mask which I have had in the bathroom for a while, but as with so many Avon products there are always other things which appeal more and I rarely remember to use them before they go 'off'. As I opened the tube and squeezed some into my ...  Read the complete review
