It smells heavenly - a really strong rose scent that doesn't overpower you though despite its strength. It is lovely. You can tell immediately that they have used good quality ingredients for this product. this may be off-putting for some however the smell doesn't linger so it isn't overpowering in that sense. The texture is a little like petroleum jelly but not as gloopy. It glides very smoothly onto the l...more

Premium Review Balm Balm Rose Geranium Lip Balm: Looks Lovely, Smells Lovely, Feels Lovely (644 words)

We are lucky in my home town that we have a little shop that sells all sorts of "trendy" things such as the Burt's Bees range of products. So I was intrigued when last year I saw this gorgeous pink box of Balm Balm Geranium Rose Lip Balm. Intrigued I wondered over to have a look at the product. I was pleased that it was natural and organic. I was especially pleased to see it had received the Beauty Without Cruelty appraisal from BUAV. I know that these things appear to be all the rage for people however yes, I confess - I do fall for these things as I try to be a considerate shopper when purchasing beauty products. And the pink box ...  Read the complete review

This lip balm is one of the most delicious I've ever had - and it works! First things first - the packaging is generally what first attracts you to a new product and this stuff has very cute packaging. It comes in a pale pink cardboard box with very simple writing on. The effect is very girly without being pretty - just nice and simple like the balm itself. Inside the cute little box is a cute little tub in white plastic with pale pink writing telling you that it is lip balm, multi purpose balm and it's 100% organic. It certainly works well on dry skin but I have mainly kept it for use on dry lips because it works extremely well for that! With ...  Read the complete review

When it comes to slapping stuff on my lips I'm right funny about grease and moisture sitting on my lips. It's the same when it comes to wearing lipsticks and lip-glosses I'm just not keen on the sensation at all however I of course wear them as I said I'm just not keen on it lol. However in this cold, windy, winter weather my lips feel rather dry at times and little bits of dry skin are hanging about on my lips which I can't help but rip off and I end up tearing the skin making my lips really sore. So when I saw this in my local Lloyds chemist (usual price £2.99) I bought it cos it was on special offer at 50p cos at the time I was out in said cold ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Chapped no more thanks to Balm Balm (501 words)

This might sound like a trifling issue to some of you, but having lips that peel constantly is a big problem for me at the moment. My usual remedy is a handy pocket sized tin of Vaseline petroleum jelly (with Aloe Vera) but I've been looking around for something different to try recently as all the Vaseline seems to do is make my lips greasy for a while. Once it's worn off I'm back to sore dry lips again. So about a month ago I was queuing up in Boots to pay for my lunch when I spotted a row of pretty pink boxes stacked up by the magazines. They turned out to be Balm Balm's Rose Geranium lip balm. Not having heard of Balm Balm before, I was curious and decided to try it ...  Read the complete review
