Barbara Daly the once makeup artist for the late princess of Wales teamed up with Tesco the supermarket giants in the year 2000 and have since been producing a range of cosmetic products that I have heard a lot of good things about but the one and only one I have ever tried turned out to be a real let down.

I purchased the Barbara Daly for Tesco Face Lift because I am at that age where my face could do with a lift or maybe a mask. This cream claims to work on three levels, it is a light moisturising cream, it protects from UVA and UVB rays and the refined photo reflecting particles will illuminate your skin and give you a healthy glowing look. In the words of Catharine Tate as the grandmother "what a load of old sh**e".

This stuff at £6.00 for a 30ml jar left my skin feeling tight and unpleasant, as well as smelling like fruit that had gone off. I was very disappointed in this cream from the word go, as soon as you unscrew the lid from the little frosted jar the scent is terrible and the cream feels horrible when applied and leaves your skin feeling horrible once on. I gave this cream two chances then binned the rest of the jar, A complete and utter waste of £6.00.

I can only assume from all the good write ups I have read about this lady and Tesco`s stuff that there must be better things in the range but I certainly would not recommend this to anyone!

Summary: I would not even recommend this to an enemy!
