In my long and varied career of searching for the secret of eternal youth, I have come across many a fancy pot of cream which claims to do everything but clean the house for you. And in my travels and numerous stops at make up counters never have I been so impressed with the instant effect of an eye cream as I was with Benefit's Eyecon. I must point out before I go any further that I no longer use this product. I completey changed my skincare a while ago and once this product ran out, two weeks ago, I changed to the one in my skincare range as I had some specific concerns that I felt buying another pot of Eyecon might not address. Despite that though, I am ... Read the complete review

I purchased Benefit Eye-Con at Sephora last year when I had seen it on display near the cash desk. I read the box and the description and immediately decided that I had to have it. $28 US later, I was on the ride home excited at the promise of puff, and dark circle free eyes, this was the promise on the description of the product, as well as reducing wrinkles which was not one of my major concerns. I got home and performed my nightly routine of the clinique 3 step skincare system and dabbed the product under my eye and over the lid and brow bone. I then went to bed. When I awoke, to my dismay I noticed that my dark circles were still apparent, and my eyes ... Read the complete review

I’ve recently discovered that once you hit 21 you can no longer burn the candle at both ends at they say and find that a part time job, university studies and socialising cannot all be compressed into a single week without me ending up like a zombie by the end of week. I was stood in the lift in my University library a couple of weeks ago now and was looking in the mirror – yes the whole back wall of the lift is a mirror which is highly undesirable when you’re not looking your best! – and noticed that my black under eye circles really could rival a pandas! I raided Boots the following weekend and decided to purchase a product by Benefit named Eye Con. Over the ... Read the complete review

My eye con experience was brought to me by way of the small sample of the product included in my 'Justine Case' Benefit make-up kit. When I bought this little kit - mainly for the wide range of benefit products in included, but also because it just looked so cute - the eye con product was the one which the Benefit lady raved the most about. Miracle eye cream, she said, celebrity's swear by it, she said, can't get enough of it, she said.... So you can imagine I had relatively high expectations of this product. Now, this is not a product I would neccesarily have chosen were it not included in the kit I bought - eye cream just isn't really my thing - just seems a ... Read the complete review

This is tiny little pot of eye cream that benefit claims 'fades dark circles and won't break the bank'. O.K. it doesn't fade dark circles in fact because you are putting cream on them it makes them stand out a load more than they did in the first place. For it not breaking the bank - you are having a laugh aren't you!! £21.50 for 14g of cream that doesn't work is a fortune in my opinion. Admittedly it does feel nice on your skin, it soaks in well and it smells lovely and fruity. It doesn't make your eyes any brighter it just draws attention to the bits you are trying to hide. As for softening lines it may well do but I was so disappointed in it I have not used it for ... Read the complete review
