Advantages: Great value, close shave

Disadvantages: None

Unfortunately its that time of year, when legs need to be continually clean shaven with all the cropped trousers/skirts/shorts worn, that I have to reach for the disposable razors on an almost daily occurrence just to keep my legs hair free.

I refuse to put a lot of money into expensive and fancy lady shaving razors, since although I shave underarm hair all year round, I really only use razors on my legs come the good weather, or when they start to resemble a forest in the winter time.

This pack of ten bic disposable razors cost me £1 in Tesco, and they seem to last me quite a while. I always opt for the sensitive range in these to protect my skin.

It would be difficult not to notice these razors in the supermarket because of their quite bright orange colour. Each razor comes with a single blade for ease of cleaning, and claims to give a smooth and close shave for sensitive skin. Each blade is protected in the packet with a cover so children (or even adults) won't shred themselves when lifting them out of the packet or carrying them.

I find these razor blades do an excellent job and I don't find that I have to go over the same area of hair again and again to make sure it has gone. I feel that these razors do give me a close shave, and leave me hair free for up to two days. They are easy to clean, and I find that I can use them several times before disposing of them, meaning that the bag seems to last me ages. The blade still remains sharp after several days of shaving, and I simply change it when the blade starts to look grubby and the sharpness appears to have gone from it.

As I said, I buy the sensitive bic razors, and unless my legs are particularly cold or there isn't enough shaving gel over them, I have found that they do not leave my leggs shredding and bleeding, and rather my legs feel smooth and soft. I do however use moisturiser afterwards.

All in all, I think these razor blades are excellent value for money, and they do exactly the job that I bought them for. The fact that they leave my legs smooth and hair free means I definitely could not justify spending the money on more expensive blades. I would highy recommend them to anyone, particularly women, who do not want to spend a fortune on keeping their legs hair free in the summer months!

Summary: A great value bag of disposable razors

I always end up cutting my face to bits when I use these type of razors. Glad they work for oyu though :)

These are much better than anything that's been designed specifically for women.

Totally agree - a pain free way of getting rid of unwanted hair is always a bonus! x
