Advantages: none, though women appear to find them useful for shaving their legs!
Disadvantages: Hopeless for men to use to shave their beards (which is what I thought they were used for!)
Well, I want to write an opinion on Bic disposable razors. So what do I do? I go to lifestyle > Shaving foe men > Razors and there I find Bic disposable razors. Great, click on it and I get taken to the hair removal for women category!! Still if that's where Dooyoo want me to put my opinion, here goes ... it'll stand out that's for sure! Bic Razors will leave a trail of blood and skin around the bathroom. Having just read Chris Cooper's (check it) opinion reminded me of the time I used Bic razors on holiday - I didn't want to take my usual Mach 3 with me, so I thought a packet of disposables will do me for a week. My god, how wrong could I be. I know they're cheap, but you do expect to be able to shave with them. There is one blade, which is no good after one shave, thus a packet of 10 will only last 10 days (suddenyl not so cheap). They have a fixed head which is small and weak, so you cannot guide it properly around your face. The one blade catches on your stubble and there is no lube so sure enough you get nics all over your neck and chin. A complete waster of time unless you are into blood and s&M, in which case I can highly recommend them! Still, at just over a pound for 5 blades in my corner shop they are cheap, but bear in mind you get one good shave out of these, whereas Mach 3 gives you five good shaves from one blade!) Unless you're a woman that is!

- 25/03/01 I suppose so, but then again I could probably get one good shave out of a Bic, whereas I could get 5 good shaves out of a Mach 3 blade! Thanks anyway, I've added the cost now! |

- 25/03/01 Are, but are they not cheaper than MAch 3, thus the lower quality. Would have given you v helpful, if you had included the cost. |
