This is one of those products that is little known, but should be shouted from the rooftops. It is brilliant, and unlike so many others, it does exactly what it says it is going to do The main ingredient that makes this stuff so different, is Purcellin oil (not being a scientist, i dont know much about this.). It ensures the quick delivery of its main ingredients, which are vitimins a, and e, calendula, Rosemary oils, and chamomile extract(which i do know slightly more about through my profession.). Vitamin a benefits include helping with acne, skin care, stretch marks, eczema, menstruation, urinary tract health, wound healing, ... Read the complete review

Bio-Oil **WHAT IT DOES** Bio-oil is a skincare product which will help the appearance and reduce scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone and will help ageing or dehydrated skin. Not only will it reduce these symptoms but it can also precent them from appearing. So what makes bio-oil so magical or special? Well one of the ingredients is PurCellin oil which they claim optimised the targeted delivery of vitamin A and E, Chamomile extract and a combination of natural oils (which are Lavender, Calendula and Rosemary), this helps to maintain healthy skin. **PRODUCT + PACKAGING** It comes in a small rectangular box which has a ... Use your judgement reading these reviews - different people have different experiences of this product based upon their own specific circumstances. This product DOES WORK - but how well it works for you as an individual will vary. I have a few hypertrophic scars on my left arm. They were large and stood out significantly. After 6 months use of Bio-Oil they're now the same colour as my natural skin and a lot less angry looking. I'd tried several products before and found pure natural E oil had had the biggest effect in calming the redness, but Bio-Oil has had the most dramatic difference. It too contains Vitamin E plus other natural ... Read the complete review

One night sometime earlier on in the year I was sitting watching TV; I never usually pay attention to adverts and tend to put them on mute. This time, it was different I had the sound on and then an advert came on and I didn’t tune into any of it until it said helps get rid of stretch marks. I am relatively young so don’t have a lot of stretch marks; the only place I do is at the top of my legs. I had never thought there would be a product that could do anything about this though and even when they say they do I never really believe them as I feel a lot of these things are false advertising and don’t want to buy into them. I was in my local Boots several weeks ... Read the complete review

This review is aimed specifically for individuals who, like myself, suffer from the development of minor keloid or hypertrophic scar tissue and who may be thinking about trying Bio Oil in an attempt to reduce the appearance of such scars. Keloid and hypertrophic scarring affects around 10% of people and can form following any surgical procedure or even after injections, spots and piercings in extreme cases. Bright red areas of scarring form which may become raised and extend away from the initially affected area. They are ugly but are notoriously difficult to treat effectively . I’ve known about my propensity towards such scarring since I was ... Read the complete review
