Advantages: It does no harm
Disadvantages: I don't think it does nmuch good either
I am clearly doing this all wrong! I bought the Bio Oil at the recommendation of my daughter. She's a nurse so she should know! She's been using it for years.
I thought it was a bit expensive at £13 for a 200 ml a bottle. Then I saw it on special offer at LLoyds the chemist for £6 a bottle so I was seduced by promises of knocking a few years off my face. I decided that if it worked I would go back for more, before the offer finished.
I bought the amber nectar home (well sort of orange really) full of expectation. I used it day and night for about a week. When you pour it in your hand, it is the consistency of cooking oil, and quite frankly about as much use. It does not actually absorb, but sits on your skin in an oily slick.
It doesn't smell unpleasant, it has quite a light fragrance of nothing in particular.
The most useful thing that I use it for, is for softening the skin on my heels in summer. Of course anything would do for that. I have used it on my hair, being mixed race means I have dry hair especially during the summer. It is not much use for this either!
In short, it did no harm and was not unpleasant, but it is too expensive for a lot of nots! I have products that are cheaper and work better than the Bio Oil. Now that's made me really depressed, I must be too far gone!
Summary: I must be too far gone, it did not do much for me!
